TSS is committed to protecting your privacy. We only collect and process personal data where strictly necessary to provide our services and software products. All TSS software is developed following the principle of data minimization (Art. 5(1)(c) GDPR).

3.1 Hosting & Server Logs

This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstrasse 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with netcup. When you visit our website, technical data is automatically stored in server log files (IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type). This data is used solely to ensure technical operation and is deleted after a maximum of 7 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3.2 Contact Form

If you use our contact form, the data you provide (name, email address, message) is transmitted to us by email and used solely to process your inquiry. No data is shared with third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Data is deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed.

3.3 Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies. No tracking, analytics, or marketing cookies are used.

3.4 No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking or analytics services. No data is transmitted to third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Software Products

4.1 EcoScreen

EcoScreen is a Windows tray application for automatic monitor brightness control.

• Data collected: Only application settings (brightness values, schedules, language preference) – stored locally on your device only.
• No telemetry: No usage data, crash reports, or diagnostic information is ever transmitted.
• Version check: EcoScreen optionally checks for updates by connecting to tss-update.de. Only the current application version number is transmitted – no personal data.
• No cloud: All data remains locally on your device at all times.
• No personal data: EcoScreen does not process any personal data at any point.

EcoScreen fully complies with Microsoft Store privacy requirements and applicable privacy laws.

4.2 SkillHub

SkillHub is a workforce and shift planning application for manufacturing environments.

• Data stored: Employee data (name, qualifications, shift assignments), usernames and hashed passwords. Default passwords at initial setup are stored in plaintext and must be changed by the administrator on first use.
• Absence marker: An employee's absence status is used solely for current-day scheduling. No medical history is recorded, evaluated, or shared. The marker resets automatically (Art. 5(1)(c) GDPR).
• Network: Data is transmitted exclusively within the local company network – no cloud, no internet connection.
• Data controller: The company operating SkillHub is the data controller for employee data stored within the application (Art. 4(7) GDPR).

4.3 StockHub

StockHub is a silo, warehouse, and production management application.

• Data stored: Inventory data, planning data, usernames and hashed passwords. No sensitive personal data.
• Network: Local company network only – no cloud, no internet connection.

4.4 ShiftHub

ShiftHub is a digital shift log application.

• Data stored: Shift records, usernames and hashed passwords.
• Network: Local company network only – no cloud, no internet connection.

4.5 TSSHub

TSSHub is the central management interface for all TSS Hub applications.

• Data stored: Shared user management (usernames, hashed passwords), network configuration.
• Network: Local company network only – no cloud, no internet connection.

Passwords in all TSS products are stored using cryptographic hashing. The website is served via HTTPS. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or manipulation.
